Tall Kitchen Cabinet
A friend of mine asked me to make her a cabinet for her kitchen that was tall and narrow. She wanted to store a mixer inside and be able to take it out and use it on top of the cabinet. The dimensions are 48"h x 18"w x 15" d. I made it with a fixed shelf in the middle and two adjustable shelves in the bottom portion. The face frame and shelf edge banding is made of poplar and the carcass is 3/4" plywood. The top is two pieces of 3/4" ply laminated together and trimmed with poplar edging, mitered at the corners.
